UX Research Intern

Internship Remote · based in San Francisco, CA 10–20 hrs/week · 3–6 months Paid internship

We're designing for three very different audiences with very different questions. This role runs the conversations and usability sessions that tell us which insights land, which confuse, and what's missing.

What you'll do

  • Recruit and run interviews and usability sessions with parents and educators
  • Synthesize findings into clear, prioritized recommendations
  • Build and maintain a lightweight research repository the team actually uses
  • Pressure-test new modules before launch and after

What we're looking for

  • Coursework or hands-on experience in UX research, HCI, psychology, or education
  • You can run an interview without leading the witness
  • Clear synthesis: findings, not transcripts
  • Care for research ethics, especially anything involving families

Nice to have

  • Experience with youth, school, or family contexts
  • Comfort reading quantitative data alongside interviews
