Community Growth Lead — Austin, TX
Part-time Austin, TX 15–20 hrs/week Part-time, paid
We're hiring three Community Growth Leads — one each in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Austin. This role owns Austin, TX: finding parents, schools, and educators where they already gather, earning their trust, and turning early users into advocates.
What you'll do
- Own Austin, TX: find where parents and educators already gather and show up usefully
- Run local partnerships with schools, districts, PTAs, newsletters, and creators
- Host recurring touchpoints: AMAs, workshops, or a small ambassador program
- Close the loop between what the community asks for and what we build
What we're looking for
- You've grown a community, program, or audience from close to nothing
- Based in or deeply connected to Austin, TX
- Credibility with parents or educators — lived, professional, or both
- Excellent written communication and follow-through
Nice to have
- Teaching, school leadership, or parent-org experience
- Existing network in K–12 or family media
